Naming and words
Products
Section titled “Products”- bWalletX is the wallet. Small b, capital W, capital X. The App Store and Play edition is called bWallet.
- bChatX is the social front door. bChatX.com is its home. Decided 8 Oct 2026.
- Two brands only. Long term we keep bWalletX and bChatX. bit-sign, bitcoinchat.online and the bChat name are being dropped, and their features move into bWalletX. Don’t build new things under the old names. Decided 18 Oct 2026.
- Ask b is the assistant’s label in menus and titles. In sentences it’s just b: “Ask b anything”, “b is typing…”. Old names (Agent b, b agent) are retired. “Agent accounts” and token agents keep the word agent. Decided 12 Oct 2026.
The X family
Section titled “The X family”- X means exchange. bMusicX is the Bitcoin Music Exchange; bMoviesX is the Bitcoin Movie Exchange. Use X for the exchange or market side of a product. Decided 14 Oct 2026.
- The bMovies app stays at bmovies.app.
- Adult services never use the X family name, because app stores and payment partners judge the whole family.
- CherryX is not an adult brand. It is mostly video mixing. Don’t describe it as adult. Decided 11 Oct 2026.
Other names
Section titled “Other names”- VexVoid’s channel is bTV: AIVJ, and the site is aivj.website. Never “AIVJ.TV”. Link VexVoid’s bChatX profile wherever it appears. Decided 13 Oct 2026.
- Nearly anything can take a b in front and join the chain. Keep the b lower case.
bChat is now bChatX
Section titled “bChat is now bChatX”The bChat name was dropped on 18 Oct 2026. Use bChatX everywhere, including in older docs pages as they’re touched. Decided 23 Oct 2026.
Handles
Section titled “Handles”- $ is a payment handle.
$namemeans the paymailname@bwalletx.com. - @ is social. Use @ only next to a social network (“@name on X”), or on bChatX.
- One handle per account. The same name is
$namein bWalletX and@nameon bChatX. A different name is a different account. - Other wallets get their full address. Show
name@otherwallet.comin full, never as a bare handle. - Never build handles from email addresses. They leak the address.
- The wallet card front shows the
$handleand the identity-key fingerprint only.

- $b means Bitcoin (BSV). The wallet will drop the “BSV” label in time, and Bitcoin becomes $b. Decided 14 Oct 2026.
- Never use $b for anything else. Credits are bCredits, with no $.
- PNEEs with a small s: “1 PNEE”, “3 PNEEs”.
BSV until $b ships
Section titled “BSV until $b ships”Keep saying BSV wherever the app shows BSV, so words and screens match. Switch to $b only when the relabel ships in the app. Decided 23 Oct 2026.
