Friends, chat and rooms
bWalletX is a wallet you can talk in. The Chat tab holds your direct messages and rooms; Friends is your address book.
Friends
Section titled “Friends”Friends lists the people you know by paymail or $handle. From a friend you can:
- message them,
- call them (Spaces and calls),
- pay them,
- see their token and open their room.
Add a friend by name, or scan their QR code.
Direct messages
Section titled “Direct messages”Private one-to-one chats with your contacts. Open a friend and tap Message, or start a new chat from the Chat tab.
Token rooms (bWalletX)
Section titled “Token rooms (bWalletX)”Hold the token, join the room. Every token has a chat room, and its owner sets the rules, including whether messages cost something.
- Open a token’s page and tap its room.
- Your personal
$HANDLEtoken has a room too. It’s where your supporters talk with you.
Pay per message
Section titled “Pay per message”A room can charge per message. The message and its payment go out in one transaction: no payment, no message. The price shows before you send.
Bounties
Section titled “Bounties”Post a paid task in a room. When someone completes it, pay them from your wallet.
The Lounge
Section titled “The Lounge”The bWallet Lounge is our community room. You join it by default, and it’s pinned at the top of Chat. Ask questions, meet other users and talk to the team.
/b in every room
Section titled “/b in every room”Type /b and a question in any chat, and b, bWalletX’s assistant, answers there. /b on its own lists the commands (Ask b).
bMail is one inbox for mail sent to your names.
Moderation
Section titled “Moderation”Mute or block anyone from their profile. Settings › Blocked & muted lists them. Filter strong language softens what you see.
On the web
Section titled “On the web”Chat also lives at bchatx.com: the feed, rooms and Spaces in a browser. Sign in with bWalletX. Anyone can read public rooms and listen to Spaces without signing in.
Per edition
Section titled “Per edition”DMs, Friends, the Lounge, /b and bMail work in both editions. Token rooms, pay per message and bounties are in bWalletX.
