Make tokens and NFTs

bWalletX can mint things on Bitcoin SV for you: tokens, NFTs and tickets. Everything you mint is signed by your identity, so anyone can check who made it.

Your personal token

Every handle can have a token named after it: $YOURHANDLE. Its icon is your profile picture.

  1. Claim a $handle first (Names).
  2. Mint your personal token in one tap from your profile or token page.
  3. It gets a room: people who hold it can join and chat with you.

  1. Open the mint sheet for a token.
  2. Give it a ticker, a name, a supply and an icon.
  3. Check the approval sheet. It shows the network fee and any indexing fee.
  4. Confirm. The token appears in your wallet straight away.

Tickers are first come, first served on the chain. If yours is taken you’ll see Name is already a token.

Every token gets its own room, with you as its owner. Setting up a room’s indexing costs a little; the wallet offers it on your token’s card, and you can say Not now.

What the wallet won’t sign: a token whose description promises returns, profits or dividends. Tokens fund named things you’re making; they aren’t investments.

Mint an NFT

  1. Open the mint sheet for an NFT.
  2. Pick an image, a music file or a video.
  3. Add a name and description.
  4. Confirm. It’s inscribed as a 1Sat Ordinal and appears under NFTs.

Larger files cost more to inscribe. The approval sheet shows the cost before you confirm.

Tickets (bWalletX)

A ticket is a token that invites someone into your room. Mint a ticket token, then send a ticket to a friend; they join by holding it.

Airdrop to holders (bWalletX)

If you issue a token, you can send a token or BSV to every holder in one go. Use it for thank-yous and drops to your community.

Tips

  • Start with a small test mint to see how it looks.
  • Keep a few cents of BSV for fees.
  • Your issuer signature is why people can trust your tokens. Keep your account’s keys safe.

Minting tokens and NFTs works in both editions. The bonding-curve Launchpad, tickets and airdrops to holders are in bWalletX only.
